MIGHTY MITES SOCCER WRAPS UP GREAT SEASON!

This season, our Mighty Mites soccer program has had the best weather and performance in school history! With just one rain-out in the entire season, our players played a highly competitive schedule with our friends in the Abington Youth Soccer League’s U12 division. Comprised of local boys and girls, our opposing teams have been tough – it’s a good thing our skills have been rapidly improving with every match. Highlights of this season have included the very first Mighty Mites soccer victory along with two double-overtime games! We have even been able to “loan” a few of our players to other teams who were a bit short-handed for some of the matches we’ve played. Our opponents have been very impressed with the determination and competitive attitudes of our athletes – and so have our fans!

It was really neat to cap off our season with a pizza party followed by our first-ever night game played “under the lights” as our season finale. We were able to play on the Abington Youth League’s brand new turf field – what a rush! We can’t wait for next season and the exciting new experiences that we are sure to have. We sure hope you’ll be a part of our season – as a player or as a fan!
