Choices For Children

The Choices for Children (CFC) program has provided Early Intervention services to families of deaf and hard of hearing infants and toddlers throughout Pennsylvania for over 30 years.

The experienced, certified teachers are the cornerstones of this primarily home-based program, with regular visits scheduled to home or daycare settings. The Choices staff provide comprehensive and objective information, advocacy, and training in language, audition and speech for infants and toddlers who have a hearing loss.

Choices for Children also offers a variety of site-based activities providing opportunities to interact with other parents, share concerns, discuss common issues and develop friendships. Activities such as the Discovery Day playgroup, family workshops, and sign language classes reinforce and enhance the home visits.

The most important step is getting started so your child can fully use the hearing he or she has to communicate successfully and meet those important developmental milestones.  CFC accommodates the needs of the family by developing a plan to help each child reach his or her greatest potential.
